“ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME” BETWEEN SHOW AND SOLIDARITY
The magic of Rome and the Tiber as the backdrop for a splendid evening event organized to support and promote the projects of the Centro Ricerche Studi Onlus
Rome, July 6, 2018 – “All Roads Lead to Rome” and “Rome from the River“, an anticipated success that offered vibrant and evocative emotions to all attendees, who were able to appreciate both the beauty of the Capital from a privileged perspective and the magic of the Capitoline artistic tradition, as well as the commitment of the organizers to highlight our projects.
The event, which will be repeated on Tuesday, July 10, took place on the barge of the infamous “Società Romana Nuoto 1889“, the oldest in Italy, always moored on the banks of the wonderful Lungotevere in Augusta, the stretch from Ponte Regina Margherita to Ponte Cavour up to Piazza del Porto di Ripetta.
Here, awaiting the attendees, was a modern tourist boat made available for the exclusive initiative “Rome from the River“, a suggestive Aperitif Sailing on the Tiber among the beauties of Rome, such as Castel Sant’Angelo and Ponte Sisto, which served as a prelude to the theme of Romanity through stories, anecdotes, and legends related to the places and historical figures of the city. A theme also addressed from a culinary perspective with a delicious typically Roman dinner prepared by the staff of SRN 1889, leaving everyone
The evening then concluded with the entertaining show “All Roads Lead to Rome“, which also gave the event its name, curated by the Roman actor and showman Fabrizio Giannini and the pianist, as well as anesthesiologist, Gabriele Barettin, who offered a lively slice of Roman life drawing also from the repertoires of some great artists of the Capital, such as the immense Ettore Petrolini.
We could not imagine, therefore, a more exciting charity evening, which was indeed characterized by an exclusive program dedicated to the rediscovery of a deep, sincere, and proud Romanity that unfortunately becomes increasingly difficult to discern.
For this reason, we want to thank all those who made all this possible, from the main organizer, as well as our great Friend and partner, Dr. Carlo Galli, who also passionately and enthusiastically illustrated our projects, to the hosts of the Società Romana Nuoto 1889 who hosted us on their ancient barge; not forgetting, of course, the Studio Legale Angelini – Barucco which is always at the forefront in promoting and supporting our Association. But we also want to thank all the other organizers and the stars of the evening Fabrizio Giannini and Gabriele Barettin, who have shown a strong desire to continue this beautiful collaboration, arousing great enthusiasm in Us. Finally, but not least, we thank all those who participated, contributing to Our cause.
