From the established collaboration between Ce.R.S. Onlus and the Cristo Re Hospital in Rome comes the new project “Let’s Give a Smile” dedicated to Our Angels.
The care commitment of the Centro Ricerche Studi, in favor of children with chronic illness and high-intensity care needs, has always been focused on achieving very high-quality levels of the services provided. A mission supported by the desire to utilize increasingly specific facilities and expertise, in addition to those already existing, for the comprehensive hospital treatment of our patients.
For this reason, we are constantly seeking partners with such facilities and expertise, who can help us, through projects, to address the major challenges of the national healthcare system that prevent our Angels from accessing highly specialized treatments and services.
Among the most frequent obstacles that our beneficiaries are forced to endure is the enormous difficulty in accessing dental treatments, especially once they reach adulthood, as these need to be performed under sedation and therefore require targeted expertise.
The partner we needed was found in the Cristo Re Hospital in Rome, thanks to the sensitivity of Dr. Massimo Miraglia, who helped us structure and launch a project aimed at facilitating our beneficiaries’ access to dental care.
The “Let’s Give a Smile” project, born from the collaboration between Ce.R.S. Onlus and Cristo Re, was activated thanks to the signing of a specific agreement that allows us to refer our Adult Children to the Hospital, ensuring them access to dental services under sedation at no cost to the Families.
