Giuseppe is assisted 24\/7 by qualified personnel.<br \/>\nGiuseppe is a 6-year-old boy who has been hospitalized at the OPBG Neurorehabilitation ward in Palidoro since October 30, 2014, due to secondary outcomes from a craniospinal trauma (C2-C3) from a road accident that occurred on 08\/19\/2014.<br \/>Giuseppe is tetraplegic, suffers from Chronic Respiratory Insufficiency, and is connected to a Mechanical Ventilator 24 hours a day via tracheostomy, has a ventriculoperitoneal shunt for post-hemorrhagic hydrocephalus, has a neurogenic bladder for which he performs intermittent catheterization 3 times a day, and has dysphagia due to compromised oral skills, requiring feeding through a gastric stoma.\n<\/p>\n<p>Online Petition: <a title=\"Let's Bring GIUSEPPE HOME\" href=\"https:\/\/www.change.org\/p\/giuseppetornaacasa-chiediamo-assistenza-24h-e-macchinari-per-salvare-la-vita-a-giuseppe-matteorenzi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Let&#8217;s Bring Giuseppe HOME<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We did it!
